Busy little weekend!

We had some serious snow late last week and weekend! We also had some very cold days, like -14...I pretty much camped out inside most of the time.Jeremy,Steph and the boys came Sun.afternoon and stayed until Tues.afternoon.Tiffany was home over the weekend too,but was working at the high school at the girls basketball Classic in the Country most of the time.I did venture out for our two games to watch my niece Katelyn play.We won the first game and then experienced our first loss to a very good Twinsburg team.Warren took Kayden outside on Mon.It was his first time wearing boots and he kept saying "can't walk".He had to touch, feel and finally taste the snow. They wanted to make a snowman, but the snow was too fluffy and wouldn't pack.

I got a waffle maker for Christmas,so we've been eating lots of waffles.Kayden mixed some up for us on Mon.morning.He had a great time stirring and was so proud of the waffles. Here is his recipe:

2 eggs
2 C flour
1 T sugar
4 t.baking powder
1/2 t.salt
1/2 C oil
1 and 3/4 C milk
Mix and mix and mix all this together and then let a grown up pour it in the waffle maker.Yum!

Kayden was pushing things around in his grocery cart all weekend. We put Mickey in to see what he'd do.I figured he'd jump right out,but he just settled right in(with Clifford)and enjoyed being pushed all over the place. It was quite the cute sight...

It was a busy, chaotic, fun weekend!I can't wait for them to come back...I have to end with a picture of cute little brother...

Yummy waffles--sound great!! Your little boys are so cute. Looks like the "chef" was having fun with the stirring of the batter! Wes got to help make his first snow man today...the snow was finally "packable"! He loves to be outdoors in the snow, but it's been pretty much too cold lately to play out. Today it made it to the high 30s so it felt like a heat wave!

I can not believe the dog was happy to be pushed around in the cart! That is way too funny!

Glad you're free of Tobi for a month!
