Opening some gifts
Kayden had a birthday last week and turned five.Cmon, how in the world did that happen? Seriously. He was a tiny babe at the hospital just yesterday, Cuhrazy!. And now he doesn't want to hold my hand in public anymore because "grandma, I'm big." He has soaked up so much knowledge in these five short years...he's been like a little sponge. He started preschool this fall and goes two full days a week. He told his teacher at orientation that he only wants to learn about dinosaurs and trains. He loves school...he's been known to get up at 5:30 and he'll get his backpack and announce to his sleeping parents that he's ready for preschool...of which, they are less than thrilled! He was excited because his birthday fell on a preschool day and he took cupcakes along for everyone. His friends at school are Paris, Maylee and Jakobi. He loves dinosaurs, trains, pirates, the Cat in the Hat, listening to books and grandmas smoothies. He really doesn't like to take naps or just sleep in general...he would rather be awake and living life...he loves to wrestle with his little brother and daddy. He reminds me in so many ways of his daddy when he was little. I love being his grandma and watching him grow into his own person!
Happy Birthday big guy!
